Job Description
TITLE: FOOD EXPIDITOR/EXPO
REPORTS TO: MANAGER / GENERAL MANAGER
Pay for Position:
Base Hourly Pay $10.00 to $12.00 depending on experience. Additional compensation from sales tipout of 1% of food sales paid out in addition to hourly rate.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist servers and bartenders with delivering food to guests rapidly and accurately

Assist servers and bartenders with any kitchen requests for food items

Clearly and effectively communicate food orders to chefs, while paying attention to priorities, special requests, and food allergies/dietary restrictions

Ensure food is served in accordance with safety and restaurant standards

Stock essential items needed to perform tasks before and after shift

Provide exceptional customer service while attending to guests

Remove necessary plates and glasses from bar or tables during a guest’s experience

Provide silverware and condiments as needed or requested

Keep station(s) clean and organized during your shift

Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints

Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
Requirements
• No previous restaurant experience or training required. On the job training will be provided. Experience is a plus.
• Must be a team player and demonstrate organizational skills.
• Must have interpersonal skills and confidence.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 12 hours).
• Verbal skills to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers and guests.
• Must have ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Fluency in other languages a plus.
• Be flexible and willing to assist as needed to ensure all restaurant standards are met.
